Imo completed a 300-hour comprehensive classical training program with Shift You Studio in 2024.

Imogen Dioguardi (known as Imo) began teaching pilates in Lisbon, Portugal, after falling in love with the practice for its ability to bring us out of our busy minds and connect deeply with our bodies. In just two years, she has created a strong community through outdoor classes and unique events with a big focus on connection. Her classes are famous for being challenging (the word she uses is spicy!), satisfying and effective. Her philosophy is that every body is welcome, students always leave feeling empowered and stronger than they arrived! Imo believes movement can be silly, fun, we can giggle, take breaks, collapse and swear, as long as we’re on the mat we have done something incredible for our minds and bodies.

We booked a class with Imogen during my sister’s bachelorette weekend in Lisbon and it was honestly one of the highlights of our trip!

From the very first message, everything was so easy. Imogen was super organized, quick to respond and made sure everything was tailored to our group. She really took the time to accommodate all of our wishes, which made planning completely stress-free!

We were a group of 14 girls and every single one of us absolutely loved the Pilates session. Imogen’s energy is just contagious! So positive, fun, and motivating :) the workout was exactly what we were hoping for... challenging enough to get a proper sweat in, but not so intense that anyone felt left behind. Everyone walked away saying how much they enjoyed it and how much they loved Imogen’s positive vibe.

We are all so happy we chose her for this special occasion. If you’re thinking about booking a class with her, don’t hesitate, you won’t regret it!
